"Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ,who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age,according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen." Galatians 1:3-5

Lord, You have given me a short amount of time in this "present age." I play such a small part in Your grand story that goes from eternity past into eternity future.

I am reminded in Your word that my life is a mist, a vapor, a blip on Your timeline, which has no beginning or end. Though my time here on earth is short, it is significant to You. You care about what I do with my time. You have purposed my life to influence and impact the lives of others. As Psalm 90 says: "Teach me to number my days that I may gain a heart of wisdom."

I praise You for Who You are Eternal One, eternal God.

I thank You for creating and redeeming me.

I thank You Jesus, that You are the resurrection and the life. Though I die physically in this present age, I will live forever in the age to come because of You.

Keep my mind and heart on eternity today.
